Kurytiba Metropole is committed to act respecting the secrecy and confidentiality of data and information collected internally and externally. KM seeks to guarantee the preservation of the confidentiality, integrity, availability, authenticity and responsibility aspects of personal information and data. Our security procedures will be continually optimized as new techniques become available.

We use information protection and privacy policies and processes to ensure that we are 100% compliant with the new General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and other national and international best practices, reinforcing our commitment to the protection of personal data.

Personal data is only stored if made available voluntarily. For example, to download a document, to register for a course, event or conference, to request newsletters, to carry out a survey, etc. They are also stored when legally available, for example, in the case of contracts, delivery of invoices, certificates, etc.

KM will use personal data only for the purposes for which it was provided or, anonymously, for statistics. Data will be provided to third parties only when they share the principles of this policy and only for the purpose for which they were collected such as, for example, control of entry into an event, when control is outsourced or sending newsletters made through proprietary platforms for this. Our organizational members will be instructed by us to respect confidentiality.

Data and information will only be disclosed to government authorities where required by law. We will use data for information about our activities and for invitations to participate entirely on a voluntary basis. The sending of these newsletters and invitations is done based on data that were provided to us voluntarily, but we will constantly review our processes to make this more and more explicit.
